Answer the following in about 500 words each.

1. Explain the Weberian theory of social stratification.

For example, a person’s level of education, occupation, and lifestyle can also determine their level of status and influence in society. Additionally, Weber believed that social stratification is not a fixed system, but rather a dynamic one that can change over time.

One of the key concepts in Weber’s theory of social stratification is social closure. Social closure refers to the process by which certain groups try to maintain their position in society by excluding others from access to resources and opportunities.
