NDA 2020 ( National Defence Academy ) will be held by Union Public Service Commission to select the candidates for training academies into Indian Military, Navy and Air Force.UPSC has released the official notification regarding NDA 2020 which will be held on 8th January 2020 and 10th June 2020.

Candidates are required to meet certain eligibility criteria set by the respective authority. Make sure that you meet these requirements before submitting the application form.

1. Nationality

  • A candidate should be an Indian citizen or subject of Nepal / Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from  Pakistan, Burma,

Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2.  Age Limit & Marital Status

  • The minimum age of a candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum of 21 years.
  •  Unmarried male candidates can apply for the NDA 2020

3.. Educational Qualifications

For Army Wing Of NDA

  • A candidate must possess a pass certificate of 10+ 2 from any recognised board or university.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA

  • A candidate must have cleared the class 12th with Physics and Mathematics from any recognised board or university.
  • Candidates who are in 10+2 and are waiting for results are also eligible to apply.

4. Physical Requirements

  • All the aspirants who are applying for NDA 2020 must be physically and mentally fit as per the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy.
  • Candidates should check the physical requirements before proceeding for the application.
  • Candidates should not have any permanent tattoos except on the inner arm of the forearm.
  • The minimum height required to apply for NDA is 157 cms and 162.5 cms for Air Force.

NDA 2020 Application Form

Candidates need to submit the online application form in order to appear for the examinations. Here is the complete process that candidates can follow to apply online.

  • The application form will be filled in two parts – part I and part II.
  • In part, I of application process candidates are required to fill in the basic details like name, email address, mobile number and other relevant details.
  • In Part II candidates need to select the exam centres, upload their scanned photographs, signature and pay the application fees.
  • Make sure that you cross-check all the details carefully because after submitting the application form you will not be able to do make any changes.
  • After that candidates need to submit their application form and take out a print of the same for future references.
